Portrait of David Glen Robinson
David was one of the first people to email me from the blurb that appeared in the Austin Chronicle. He wasn't one of the randoms though, I've known him for years from figure drawing groups around town. He's a man about the art scene in Austin. I thought it would be great to have a portrait of an older gentleman in the collection of portraits. David Kassan is correct when he says that older faces are more interesting to paint. This was one of my favorites and I did twenty or so after this one.
